For the LOVE of it...
On Sunday I had a lovely Malaysian vegetarian 'For the Love of it' meal which included a spicy courgette and aubergine rendang wrap, satay seasonal vegetables with rice, a curry puff and nyonya kuih for dessert. The feel good food was also accompanied by a digestive Lemongrass tea and the welcoming surroundings of Kathryn and David's home, which had cute touches of Malaysia everywhere. Kathryn's idea to open her house and cook a super nutritious meal for anyone who wants to drop by is such a brilliant idea. But wait there's more, pay what you like for the food and profits are donated to farming communities and the production of healthy, living foods in that region the menu is based on. Thank you Bridget from Yoga Nerd for inviting me along and to Kathryn for the delicious food, I'll be sure to let all my boberika follower's know when the next round is happening...

Artist Jane Perkins has created three portraits of the Queen made from discarded pieces of rubbish. The triptych depicts the monarch in three stages of life: during her Coronation, Silver Jubilee and the Diamond Jubilee. These are two of the portraits...
A summer sweet treat…
Last Monday I saw the 80's classic 'The Breakfast Club' (forgot how much I love that movie), at the Charlotte Street Hotel. It's part of the Emerald Street film club and I hope I get to go to the next one as the night was fab! Besides a fantastic movie there was food and we got to taste a new Gallo wine from the Moscato range… I think I've found my summer sweet treat...
