Being a busy bee sometimes has it downsides, as a few weeks ago I missed out on the Quodlibet by Katja Spitzer exhibition launch with Nobrow at The Book Club, which is on until the 15 of Jan (so go check it if you can!). But alas not all was lost, as I hear the night was a success and a few days later I received this beautifully illustrated Quodilbet book and colourful foldout by Micah Lidberg...
I thought the novel was beautifully observed and elegantly written. I also enjoyed Coppola's adaptation of the film, which takes a more light-hearted view of the situation. 8/10 must read and see!

Changing the Guard At 11am (10am on Sundays) the St James Palace detachment of the Old Guard forms up in Friary Court before marching off via Stable Yard Gate and along the Mall to join up with the rest of the Old Guard waiting in the forecourt at Buckingham Palace. I need to do this again and practice taking photos…
The Monument The Monument, commemorates the Great Fire of 1666 and is often attributed to Christopher Wren - who choose its location 202 feet from the baker's shop in Pudding Lane where the fire originated. If I climb the 311 steps to the top I will be rewarded with a certificate, as well a wonderful view of London. Better make sure I wear my running shoes for this one eh…
