My good friends The Dark Lights launched there music video for 'The Eye' on Friday night, I helped with the behind the scenes photos of the clip and it looks great peps! Here is the finished video for you all to see...

Not long now...

My bestie Christa Vi is about to release her EP, which includes exciting remixes by up and coming NuDisco producer Show Your Shoe from Switzerland, UK bass producer Reggie Pepper from South London and East London based indie-electro band The Dark Lights. I of course had to do the artwork which features the lovely heart sculpture by Amy Joy Watson. Your Heart EP will be available for digital download and CD via Bandcamp, so go and get it!!!

Me and my camera...

Last Thursday I was at Monto Water Rats Theatre taking photos of bands, it was a late one, but worth it, as I got some great shots and was using my camera in full manual mode wa ha ha ha...

The money shots...

So I was up until late again process my photo's from the Musicosity festival and one of the biggest highlight's for me was experiencing the photographer's pit for the first time. I loved the thrill and excitement of taking photo's so close to Reef... "Throw your hand's up" as I'm sure this won't be the last time!

For one night only...

I had such a fun time at Musicosity on the weekend and I'm still recovery from lack of sleep. I guess it doesn't help that I was up until late last night processing photo's (Doh!) Here are some of Christa Vi who played a fantastic set with her band at the Old Fire Station...

UK X-ray Spectacle tour - T minus 2 days...

This week my blog has defiantly been centred around music, but it's all so exciting. My good friends The Dark Lights are kicking off their UK X-ray Spectacle tour starting in Bournemouth this weekend (more on this tomorrow) at Musicosity in support of their debut 7" single release. What did you get up too?

Well the long weekend certainly went fast and boy was I kept busy! On Saturday I had a shoot with rock band Lex Lucian. Even though it rained, we still managed to get some great natrual light photos, for a great band. Rock on...

Jazz, Neve Campbell and free Pizza...

Last night I went Mau Mau Bar in Notting Hill and checked out Jazz Refreshed featuring world-renowned singer Julie Dexter. Her performance was stunning, the venue rustic and cute, even if a little to warm, but better than the howling rain outside!

Also spotted at this gig was Canadian actress Neve Campbell (infamous for her role on the hit TV series 'Party of Five'). She was very busy texting on her phone all night (perhaps sending out updates on twitter about how good the tunes were?). After the gig on the tube we met the lovely Andrea from the Bayswater Domino's Pizza branch who kindly donated us her self made piece of art. It was the tastiest takeaway pizza, so thank you Andrea!
