Happy Chinese New Year people! May the year of the Dragon bring you success and much happiness (cheesie I know, but it had to be said). Even though Chinese New Year actually takes place on Monday 23rd January there are various events happening around London the this month and next, so whatever you do bring it in with style...

So good to be back!

2012 is already shaping up to be a very busy year with lots of exciting projects and events to attend! I spent yesterday scouting locations in Hackney Wick, for a photo shoot with an amazing band I can't wait to meet (more to come soon). I've almost completed the artwork for Christa Vi's single 'Your Heart' (you will get a special preview) and 2012 is going to be a super healthy year for me, so I have been cooking up a storm…

Monday was the start of National Baking Week 2011. The launch event in London was at St Pancras station where a bunch of talented cooks made a map of the London Underground out of cake. With cheeky tube names like Charing Hot Cross Bun, Victoria Sponge and Swiss Roll Cottage, it's pure genius and time for me to get baking...

Only the best for my camera and I really want a Local Identity Crumpler bag (at the moment only avaliable in OZ). I already own the cupcake crumpler, which is ideal for short trips, but as I'm getting more kit I need a bigger bag. Me thinks I may have to pick one up when I'm in Oz in December...

On Saturday night I'm heading to the Southwark Playhouse for short plays spun together with magic, cabaret and other eerie oddities. It should be an interesting night, especially since I'm easily scared and have to dress up (whatever shall I wear?). I feel plenty of black eyeliner black is going to be needed...
