Shhhhhhhhh Secret Cinema last night...
Last night I attended a secret cinema screening and was blown away by the level of detail, props and organisation to transform the Tobacco Dock in Wapping back in time to the late 40's. A fabulous live cinematic experience that was full of surprise, tasty delights, installations, music, performers, actors and dancers, which made for a vibrant and truly exciting event, this is one very special way of watching films...

On Saturday night I'm heading to the Southwark Playhouse for short plays spun together with magic, cabaret and other eerie oddities. It should be an interesting night, especially since I'm easily scared and have to dress up (whatever shall I wear?). I feel plenty of black eyeliner black is going to be needed...

The Monument, commemorates the Great Fire of 1666 and is often attributed to Christopher Wren - who choose its location 202 feet from the baker's shop in Pudding Lane where the fire originated. If I climb the 311 steps to the top I will be rewarded with a certificate, as well a wonderful view of London. Better make sure I wear my running shoes for this one eh…
